Health and Safety and the Coronavirus

In store, we’re very proud of our 5 star rating from the Food Standards Agency. All staff members who handle food complete food safety and hygiene qualifications and are kept up to date annually. 

Laura, our daughter and Social Media and Communications Manager, lives in Italy. So when Covid-19 hit, she was about 4 weeks ahead of the rest of us and could advise us on what we could do to fight the virus. As a result, we were able to put social distancing and hand sanitiser in place before it was recommended. We bought masks for all members of staff, whether they face the public or not. We switched over to deliveries as soon as we were able to which meant that you guys could stay home and stay safe. We continue to keep these measures in place and the store is a calm, clean, wonderful place to shop. 

 

If you’re coming to us, we would love it if you could wear your masks, pop on a squirt of hand sanitiser as you enter and keep at least 1m away from everyone in store. This protects you, other customers and Meating Joint colleagues. 

 

If you prefer to stay home and stay safe, we offer National delivery at £6.99 to every home in the U.K. (as long as DPD can get it to you).
